These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of selotechnology.com and our company-level communications. They are entered into between you and SELO Technology, operated by Ibrahim Al Houti, an individual sole proprietor based in Kuwait, doing business as SELO Technology ("we", "our", or "us").
Each SELO product (Fitness, Family, Cowork) is governed by its own product-specific Terms of Service. If you're using one of our apps, the app-specific terms apply to your use of that app.
1. Acceptance
By visiting selotechnology.com or contacting us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. The site
selotechnology.com is the marketing site for SELO Technology and its products. It is provided for informational purposes. We may update, change, or discontinue any part of the site at any time without notice.
3. Intellectual property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the site (including all text, design, graphics, logos, and code) are and will remain the exclusive property of SELO Technology. The site is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
The SELO name, the SELO Technology logo, the sub-brand wordmarks (SELO Fitness, SELO Family, SELO Cowork), brand colors, typography, and all related marks are our trademarks. You may not use them without our prior written permission.
4. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use the site in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the site, the server it runs on, or any associated database.
- Use any robot, spider, or automated means to access the site for any purpose without our prior written permission, except for standard search-engine indexing.
- Introduce any virus, trojan, worm, or other malicious material.
- Use the site to transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited advertising or promotional material.
5. Product terms
Use of any SELO product (Fitness, Family, Cowork) is governed by that product's own Terms of Service:
- SELO Fitness Terms of Service
- SELO Family — terms will be published with launch.
- SELO Cowork — terms will be published with launch.
Where a product-specific Terms of Service conflicts with this company-wide Terms, the product-specific Terms control with respect to that product.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that defects will be corrected.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the site, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the site shall not exceed USD 50.
This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your violation of these Terms, (b) your use of the site, or (c) your violation of any third-party right.
9. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kuwait, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
For disputes:
- Informal resolution first — contact us at legal@selotechnology.com. Most disputes can be resolved this way.
- Mandatory mediation — if informal resolution fails, the parties agree to attempt mediation in Kuwait City before initiating arbitration or court proceedings.
- Forum — any unresolved disputes will be brought in the courts of Kuwait, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts (in which case those rights are preserved).
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When we do:
- We update the "Last updated" date at the top.
- For material changes, we provide more prominent notice on the site or by email where appropriate.
- Continued use of the site after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
