This Privacy Policy describes how SELO Technology ("we", "our", or "us") handles information across our website at selotechnology.com and our company communications.
SELO Technology is a software studio. Each of our products has its own dedicated privacy policy describing what that specific product collects and why. If you're an app user, the app-specific policy applies to your data inside the app.
1. Who we are

2. What this policy covers
This company-wide policy covers data we handle outside of any specific product app:
- Information you submit by emailing us (e.g. hello@selotechnology.com, support inquiries, recruiting).
- Standard server logs from visits to selotechnology.com (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp). We use these to operate and secure the site.
- Cookies. The selotechnology.com marketing site does not set tracking cookies. We use no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no third-party trackers on our marketing pages.
2.1 Where the product-specific policies apply
Each SELO product collects different data and is governed by its own policy:
- SELO Fitness — health logs, body composition, workouts, AI-feature usage. See the SELO Fitness Privacy Policy.
- SELO Family — coming with launch.
- SELO Cowork — coming with launch.
3. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your messages and support requests.
- Operate, secure, and improve selotechnology.com.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your data, run third-party advertising, or share your information with data brokers.
4. Data sharing and recipients
We share your data only with:
- Hosting providers for the marketing site (e.g. Vercel or Netlify). These providers process server logs on our behalf.
- Email providers for handling correspondence sent to our addresses.
- Service providers strictly for technical operation of the company (e.g. accounting, payment processing for vendor relationships — not user data).
We do not transfer your data to advertising networks, social platforms, or analytics SDKs that aggregate user data across sites.
5. Data retention
- Email correspondence — retained as long as needed for the conversation, then archived per standard email retention.
- Server logs — retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse-detection purposes, then deleted.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including GDPR and CCPA), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to specific processing activities
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority

7. Children's privacy
SELO Technology services are not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact privacy@selotechnology.com and we will delete the data.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we update the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes, we'll provide more prominent notice (e.g. a banner on the site). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
